If the FRM has previously been replaced with an FRM3, it does not need to bereplaced. Similar aftermarket solutions may not function properly as the vehicles would not be coded to becompatible with the lower power requirement of LED’s. This could lead to “Bulb Check” warning lights,and flickering of the tail lamps on startup. Recommended installation time: 35 minutes including coding (without FRM replacement),75minutes including coding (with FRM replacement).
