  • Q: How do you remove, modify, and refit rear suspension strut assemblies on BMW 2500?
    A: These can include Nivomat self-levelling units or the conventional coil spring and damper units and the former can be had filled with the option of the later specification. Other changes included on older models include fitting of damper rings and rubber discs aimed at improving on ride comfort. It is agreed that suspension strut assemblies should always be renewed in pairs; because of alterations throughout the production period, it is recommended practice to take the old units to the spares department to ensure that they are matched with the replacements.
