How to replace Air Filter in non-turbo engine on BMW 335i?

To remove the air filter housing you have to first disconnect the air intake duct from the housing. Then, turn the hose clamp counterclockwise and remove the connector at the mass air flow sensor. To replace it you pull out 4-6 mm-head screws that hold the filter housing on top and slide the housing upward out of the compartment. Following that, remove the screws from the filter housing cover and, therefore, detach the cover. Removing the Air Filter and putting in a new one should be done. When it comes to installing the impellers, it must be done in a manner that is a reverse of the removal process.

How to replace the air filter on BMW X5?

To n/s pull the air filter of 6 cylinder and V8, loosen the two clamps at the mass air flow sensor and the upper air filter housing clips. Subsequently, lift the cover and take out the air filter and put the new one in. Make sure when putting the mass air flow sensor the O-ring is fitted properly on the upper air filter housing cover.
