    To remove the brake disc, perform the following steps:Remove the brake pads.Remove the bolts and take off the caliper mounting bracket. Discard the old bolts; new ones are required.Loosen and remove the brake disc retaining bolt.Gently tap the rear face of the brake disc with a plastic mallet if it doesn't come off by hand.If the parking brake shoes are binding, ensure the parking brake is fully released.Use a screwdriver through one of the wheel bolt holes to rotate the adjuster star wheel on the upper pivot. This will retract the parking brake shoes, allowing the brake disc to be removed.
