To remove the clutch fork, first take out the release bearing, then slide the fork sideways to disengage it from the retaining spring clip and pivot, pulling it forwards from the guide sleeve. Inspect the release bearing, pivot, and slave cylinder pushrod contact faces for wear, replacing the fork if excessive wear is evident, and check the retaining spring clip for necessary replacement. For installation, slide the clutch fork into position over the guide sleeve, push the end of the fork over the pivot, and ensure the retaining spring clip engages correctly over the end of the clutch fork before reinstalling the release bearing as previously described.
