To remove the brake fluid reservoir cap, siphon out enough brake fluid so that the level is below the reservoir fluid hose connection to the clutch master cylinder, ensuring not to empty the reservoir to avoid drawing air into the brake hydraulic circuits. For better access, raise the vehicle and support it securely on jackstands. If applicable, remove the under-body shield to access the bellhousing. Place a container beneath the hydraulic line connection on the clutch slave cylinder to catch any escaping brake fluid, then unscrew the fitting nuts and disconnect the fluid line, followed by removing the nut that secures the line bracket to the slave cylinder. After disconnecting the line fitting, remove the retaining nuts and the remaining securing nut to withdraw the slave cylinder from the mounting studs on the bellhousing. Inspect the slave cylinder for fluid leaks and damage, replacing it if necessary, as no spare parts are available for the unit. For installation, follow the reverse order of removal, ensuring to clean and lightly grease the end of the slave cylinder pushrod before installation, tighten the mounting nuts to the specified torque, and finally, top up the brake fluid level and bleed the clutch hydraulic circuit upon completion.

Press the cylinder piston in by hand and reconnect the hydraulic line while the cylinder is fully depressed.
