The NC condenser is positioned between the electric cooling fan and the radiator, requiring the radiator to be loosened and tilted backward for access. The receiver-drier is integrated into the condenser. Following the manufacturer's guidelines, connect an approved refrigerant recovery/recycling and recharging unit to the NC system to discharge it. Remove the engine air intake hood and air filter housing. Detach the fasteners from the brackets on each side of the radiator and take out the radiator brackets. While working above the radiator, pull off the rubber strip, remove the condenser refrigerant line mounting bolts, and separate the lines from the condenser, ensuring to plug the lines and ports immediately to prevent contamination. Remove the condenser retaining bolts, carefully tilt the radiator backward, and lift out the condenser. Installation follows the reverse order of removal, replacing sealing O-rings when reconnecting refrigerant lines and ensuring the radiator plastic guides snap securely into the radiator brackets at the top. If a new condenser is being installed or if the condenser has been off the vehicle for more than 24 hours, replace the receiver-drier unit. Recharge the A/C system according to the equipment manufacturer's instructions, noting the refrigerant capacity.
