The process is performed using a 6-silinder radiator, the same as in the case of the V8 model. To start with, proceed and lift an extent of the car at a time and confirm it is well supported. First, the splash shield beneath the engine needs to be removed, thereafter the radiator and the engine block need to be drained. Then, remove the air intake hood, fan shroud and cooling fan in this order as provided in the Suzuki GS150 Katana Manual. Take out the bolts on the brackets on both LHS and RHS of the radiator, and if necessary the left and right bolts at the top part of the radiator. Remove the bolts of the coolant expansion tank and remove the upper and lower radiator hoses also any hoses linked with the coolant expansion tank. Note also that the temperature sensor harness connector should be disconnected before you pull the radiator out for removal. For installation the process is reversed while making sure that the radiator and the cooling system are filled appropriately.
