    For A/C system maintenance on a BMW,Discharge and recover refrigerant at a certified shop. Heater Assembly: Remove, access A/C evaporator core by detaching necessary parts, and reinstall. Remember to replace the A/C accumulator. Cowl Trim Panel: Remove and replace caps as required. Ensure replacement of damaged seals to prevent leaks. Cabin Air Filter: Remove, access, and manage components behind the engine, including the expansion valve. Replace used seals. A/C Accumulator: Replace under certain conditions like system contamination, replacements of major components, or extended exposure. Condenser: Detach, replace desiccant sack in the new insert, and reinstall. Compressor (3.0L & 2.0L): Remove by detaching necessary components, including thermostat (for 3.0L). Note: Refill with proper refrigerant oil during reinstallation. Sensors: Gently remove from their locations, either from the instrument panel, engine compartment, or heater housing.
