For A/C system maintenance on a BMW,Discharge and recover refrigerant at a certified shop. Heater Assembly: Remove, access A/C evaporator core by detaching necessary parts, and reinstall. Remove the plastic cap from the center of the cowl trim panel. Remove the bolt in the center of the cowl. Remove the bolt at each outer end of the supports, then slide the supports out.
