    Q:
How do you remove and install the thermostat in the engine cooling system on BMW 335i? Posted by Customer
    A:
Take off splasher shield located under the engine and also drain the cooling system. Above the engine coolant pump, both the hose clamps should be unscrewed to let the hoses detach. Open the fasteners and take off the hoses, and thereafter, remove the electrical connection. Bolt and thermostat should then be removed by the user. For installation what is required is a reversal of the removal process with the addition of refilling and bleeding of the cooling system, and a check for any traces of leaks.
