    Q:
How do you properly remove and install wiper arms on BMW 335i? Posted by Customer
    A:
Open the engine hood and pry off the plastic cap covering the wiper pivot nut. Remove the wiper arm mounting nut and use BMW special tool 61 6 210 or an equivalent puller to detach the wiper arm from the pivot, taking care not to bend the wiper arm during the process. Before installing the wiper arms, ensure the wipers are in the PARK position by switching the ignition ON, activating the wipers for two complete cycles, turning them OFF, waiting for the wiper motor to come to rest, and then switching the ignition OFF. Attach the wiper arms and temporarily tighten the mounting nuts, then check and adjust the positions of the wiper blades. Finally, tighten the arms to the specified torque and, if necessary, adjust the wiper arm twist to achieve the correct wiper blade contact angle.
