Install the flywheel/driveplate to the crankshaft, engaging it with the crankshaft locating dowel, and install the new retaining bolts. If the new bolts are not supplied precoated with locking compound, apply a few drops prior to installing the bolts. Lock the flywheel/driveplate using the method employed on removal, then tighten all the retaining bolts to the specified torque setting in a diagonal sequence. Install the clutch assembly and manual transmission or the automatic transmission and torque converter.
